Tennis Recovery Formula: Hot Epsom Salt Bath Followed By A Cold Shower

A great way to recover from a long tennis match is a hot epsom salt bath followed by a cold shower. Turn your bath on hot tub temperatures then put 2 cups of Epsom salt in the bath. Stay immersed in the water for 10-15 minutes or until the heat becomes too much. Then pop in the cold shower until the cold becomes too much.

I find this combination really effective for reducing any aches and pains I have from my matches. I feel completely recovered and ready for my next match.

I also find the whole experience really gratifying. I mean who does not love hot tubs? Stress seems to melt away. Then, after I am nice and hot, I find that the cold shower not a miserable experience but actually a really refreshing one.
